Portions of I-35 slowly re-opening following large crash in Purcell

One direction of Interstate 35 near Purcell has briefly shut down Tuesday following a crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that the northbound lanes of I-35 have been shut down north of Purcell near mile marker 92 due to a crash involving two semis, a motor-home and an SUV. All traffic is being detoured onto State Highway 74. Drivers should expect heavy traffic.

By 2:45 p.m. one lane was re-opened to traffic. Authorities have not released any information on injuries in the crash.
