Police: 4 arrested after disturbance at Penn Square Mall

A large disturbance was reported about 5:45 p.m. on Friday at Penn Square Mall.

The Oklahoma City Police say their investigation showed there was a fight in the food court of the mall. A suspect activated a taser and people nearby hearing the taser noise reported hearing shots fired. There were no gunshots fired and nobody was injured by the taser.

OKCPD spokesperson said four people were arrested. Three of those arrested, Briahna Ward, 22, Jamall Stelly, 20, and Joshua Mason, 18, were arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

The fourth person arrested police said, was Xavier Ware, 19. Ware was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

Police say they were able to take control of the situation by 6 p.m.

Police report the investigation is ongoing and there is the possibility others could be charged in connection to the disturbance.
