Police: Suspect facing murder charges for man shot dead in roadway
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police announced an arrest in a metro homicide case.
Police say 30-year-old Jose Mascote was taken into custody in connection to the May 15 murder of Jerry Hudson.
Police say officers were called to the 200 block of SW 38th St. just before 1 a.m. after reports of a man lying in the roadway. Arriving officers found Hudson who had been shot.
Hudson was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
OKCPD officials say Mascote was picked up yesterday and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. He's facing multiple charges including first-degree murder.
