Police say a murder suspect thought to be barricaded inside a southwest Oklahoma City home was not there.

The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed that officers were searching the 1800 block of SW 9th Street for a suspect connected to a murder. The search began about 4:30 p.m. and lasted for at least two hours. Police thought the suspect barricaded himself inside a home and refused to exit. Shortly before 7:00 p.m. police reported the suspect was not there.

Police did confirm to Fox 25 that the suspect's name was Raymond Hickman, 25, wanted in connection to a fatal shooting on Sunday, August 13th.
