Victim struck by ricocheting bullet during argument at body shop

Police say one person was injured after a ricocheting bullet struck them following an argument at a metro auto shop.

The Oklahoma City Police Department reports that just after 2 p.m. August 7 a person was reported shot near SW 23 and Agnew. Police say the victim was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.

An investigation shows that an argument broke out at the shop. One person then pulled out a weapon and fired several rounds into the ground. One bullet ricocheted and struck the victim.

No one has been arrested in the case at this time.
