Police identify man found dead in yard of northwest metro home
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police have released the identity of a man found dead Wednesday afternoon.
Police ID'd the victim as 63-year-old Kent Potter and are investigating his death as a homicide.
Potter's body was reportedly discovered in the front yard of a home in the 1500 block of Duffner Drive, near NW 63rd and Western. Investigators say it appears Potter was run over by a car, leading to his death. The driver of the vehicle that struck Potter called 911 and spoke to officers on scene. He was released after being interviewed.
Police say no arrests have been made in the case and the investigation is on-going. Potter's death is considered the 49th of 2017 in Oklahoma City.
