Police: Body found in NE Oklahoma City home, homicide investigation launched
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police are investigating after a body is found in a metro home.
Police say on Feb. 7, officers responded to the home in the 1100 block of N. Standish Ave. just before 6 p.m. after reports of a possibly deceased person at the residence. Arriving officers found the body of 64-year-old Wanda Skanes in the home.
Investigators say Skanes body showed signs of trauma consistent with a homicide.

Skanes death is the 8th homicide in Oklahoma City of 2018.
