Police: Teenage girl one of two killed in southwest Oklahoma City shooting
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police are searching for the gunman in a shooting that left two dead and one injured.
Officers responded to reports of the shooting around midnight in the front yard of a home near SW 37th and Roff. Police say 15-year-old Erica Bradberry was already dead when police got to the scene while two others were rushed to the hospital.
Giovanny Portugal, 26, died at the hospital, while 22-year-old Jassiel Castro is listed in critical condition. Castro is expected to survive his injuries.
Investigators believe the victims were standing in a group of people outside the home when a fight broke out that resulted in gunfire.
Police say they only have a very vague description of the shooter and are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information should call Oklahoma City police immediately.
