OSBI investigating Chickasha homicide

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been asked to investigate a homicide in Chickasha.

The Chickasha Police Department was called just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday a passerby reported shots having been fired in the area of the 400 block of E. Ada Sipuel. Arriving officers found Dan C. Beal, III, 45, dead, from several gunshot wounds, inside a home.

A witness saw a vehicle leaving the scene, Chickasha police Lt. Scott Weaver said.

"A witness near the scene reported seeing a 4-door, gray car, with newer, 'Scissortail,' style OK tags, occupied by 4 subjects, leaving the area of the house. The two front seat occupants were identifiable as white males," Weaver said.

CPD called OSBI and their agents came to the scene to investigate. Investigators from the Grady County Sheriff’s Office and the Grady County District Attorney’s office also responded to the scene.
