OSBI: Noble County shooting death may be self-defense
MARLAND, Okla. (KOKH) —
The Noble County Sheriff's Office and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are looking into the weekend fatal shooting of a man in Marland.
OSBI officials say they were called to help investigate the homicide at a home in the 600 block of N. Antelope.
Officials say it appears a man and woman who lived in the home got into a verbal altercation which eventually became physical.
Agents say the woman shot 40-year-old Richard Lee Bryer, who died at the scene.
Officials say the woman was not arrested.
Evidence from the case will be presented to the Noble County District Attorney, who will determine if the shooting was in self defense.
