Oklahoma man lunges 3 miles up a mountain to support dad's cancer fight on Father's Day
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
An Oklahoma man honored his dad in a special way for Father's Day Sunday.
Cody Wilburn lunged 3 miles up Mount Scott, the second-highest mountain in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, for his father Coy Wilburn who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015.
Cody launched the #LungeAgainstCancer movement to support his dad, and help create brain cancer awareness .
On Sunday after 4 hours and 4 minutes, Wilburn completed his mission. He later posted to Facebook saying, "It has been done."
