Oklahoma City Zoo's Groundhog Day: Will and Wiley

The Grizzly Bear Prediction is just one of the many things happening at OKCZOO in the month of February. (OKCZOO)

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - (KOKH) - February 2 is Groundhog Day. In Gobbler's Knob, PA, thousands gather to see if Punxsutawney Phil forecasts another six weeks of winter. Similar traditions happen all over the country, and since the Oklahoma City Zoo (OKCZOO) doesn't have any groundhogs, they have delegates. Over the years, the zoo has had many groundhog day delegates including a bison, prairie dog, and pot-bellied pigs. However, Will and Wiley, their two Grizzly Bears remain fan favorites

The bears made their predictions at the OKCZOO at 10 AM that morning. After all, bears need to sleep in. Will and Wiley predicted that Spring is around the corner!!
