OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police have taken a woman into custody after a man was killed over the weekend.
Police say on April 14, officers were called to a home in the 4900 block of S. Walker Ave for a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, police say they found 61-year-old Gary Evans with injuries stemming from being hit with a large rock.
Evans was transported to OU Medical Center where he died.
Investigators say it appears Evan's son's girlfriend, 32-year-old Roselina Starr, became upset and started throwing large rocks through the window of the home. One of those rocks hit Evans, leading to his death.
Starr was arrested a short time later. She was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of first-degree murder.
Evans death is considered Oklahoma City's 25th homicide of 2018.
