OKCPD arrests suspect in fatal double shooting
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
The man accused of shooting two people, killing one, in northwest Oklahoma City was already behind bars, according to police.
Oklahoma City police say 25-year-old Gerald Taylor if facing charges related to the Feb. 27 shooting of Devon Hines and Tristan Brown.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 9:45 p.m. near NW 105th and Western. Arriving officers located 22-year-old Devon Hines near the intersection. Hines was suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital.
Police later found Tristan Brown, 29, in a yard near the 1200 block of NW 105th. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.
Police say Taylor was already in the Oklahoma County Jail on robbery charges. He'll now be facing additional murder and shooting with intent to kill counts.
