OKCFD: Man arrested for starting fires in metro backyard
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City fire officials say a man has been arrested for arson in connection to a metro fire.
Officials say on Feb. 5, fire crews were called to a home in the 8100 block of S. May Ave. Firefighters located the fire in the backyard of the home and quickly put it out.
Investigators were called to the scene and found evidence of three separate fires in the yard along the house. A bottle of lighter fluid was also located near the fire locations.
Fire officials say witnesses identified 25-year-old Brandon Mills as the suspect, saying he lit the fires after a woman would not let him into the house. Mills was taken into custody. He's facing one count of Arson.
