OKCFD: Fire at strip center goes to 3rd alarm
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Just after 3:15 a.m. Saturday the Oklahoma City Fire Department was called to a business center in the 9100 block of N. MacArthur Boulevard for a fire.
Upon arrival the firefighters found heavy fire and smoke, according to an OKCFD spokesperson, at the rear of the strip center. Due to amount of fire a third alarm was called in.
The fire was contained to two suites of the center fire officials said, with the rest of complex having light smoke damage and some water damge. No injuries were reported.
Fire investigators said the cause of the was electrical and it was deemed to be accidental. The complex was valued at more than $867,000 with and estimate of damage being placed at $250,000.
