OKC Police: Pursuit suspect crashed into multiple vehicles, one arrested
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police have arrested a man who they say led officers on a pursuit Sunday evening.
Around 6:00 p.m. officers engaged in a short pursuit with a vehicle near SW 44th Street and S. Western Avenue.
Police say the driver of the vehicle eventually crashed, hitting multiple cars in the 700 block of SW 32nd Street.
Bobby Huffman was arrested for attempting to elude a police officer.
Officials say Huffman had a juvenile passenger in the car at the time. The juvenile was not arrested.
No details have been released on the reason for the pursuit.
Huffman was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail and is facing additional charges of: causing an accident without a valid drivers license, human trafficking, leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury, possession of CD's without a valid prescription, and rape in the first degree by instrumentation. His bond is set at $163,000.
