OKC Fire: One person transported to hospital, one treated at fire scene

The Oklahoma City Fire Department was called to an apartment fire in the 2200 block of N. Meridian Ave. just before 9:00 p.m. Friday.

On arrival firefighters discovered the fire was food on the stove, according to OKCFD spokesperson, emergency medical personnel were called because of two smoke inhalation victims.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition, the second person was treated at the scene.

The fire was contained to one apartment. There is no word on how much damage was caused by the fire.
