OHP: 26-year-old drowns in Oklahoma Lake
SEQUOYAH COUNTY (KOKH) —
Officials report that a man has died after drowning in a lake in Sequoyah County Saturday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to reports of a drowning around 3:30 p.m. on Tenkiller Lake.
Officials say 26-year-old Joshua D. Burch was swimming in the Crappie Point area of Tenkiller State Park, when for unknown reasons he went under water and never resurfaced.
According to reports Burch's body was recovered around 4:15 p.m. Saturday evening. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
