For the second time in weeks, OG&E crews are taking off to lend a hand in the wake of a hurricane.

A convoy of 80 OG&E linemen left around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning headed for Lake City, Florida. Millions of residents in the Sunshine State are in the dark after Hurricane Irma swept through the US southeast.

OG&E is a member of the Midwest Mutual Assistance and Southeast Electrical Exchange which dispatches teams during widespread outages.

Meanwhile, crews dispatched to southeast Texas following Hurricane Harvey are expected to return home tomorrow.

Officials say another 10-member team is on stand-by
