Meetings for those affected by wildfires to be held

The Farm Service Agency and the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Foundation will be hosting meetings for producers affected by the wildfires in northwest Oklahoma.

"We encourage all producers affected to attend the meetings in order to learn about all of the opportunities for assistance in the recovery process," said Jeff Jaronek, Coordinator of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Foundation.

Two meetings are to be held. The first will be on Monday, March 20th at Harper County Fairgrounds in Buffalo, OK, it is scheduled to be at 10:00 a.m. The second meeting will be on Friday, March 24th at 10:00 a.m. at the Beaver County Fairgrounds in Beaver..

Some of the things to be discussed is how producers can become eligible for disaster assistance, federal programs and how to apply for the available funds through the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Foundation.
