Man arrested after allegedly pointing laser at police helicopter
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
An Oklahoma City man has been arrested after police say he pointed a laser at a police helicopter.
Oklahoma City Police Department reports state at approximately 12 a.m. Dec. 19 a police helicopter was in the air on a call when they observed a laser pointer being pointed at the aircraft.
Officers in the air were able to pinpoint the exact location the laser was coming from and led officers to a mobile home park near Interstate 40 and S. Rockwell Avenue.
At the location, officers arrested Matthew Joseph Ober, 36.
Ober was then booked through the Oklahoma County Jail on two complaints of pointing a laser at an aircraft.
