Hole in bridge along I-35 narrowing traffic, closes on-ramp
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
A hole in a bridge along I-35 is narrowing traffic in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports that crews are working to fix a five-inch by five-inch hole in the southbound I-35 bridge over NE 63 Street Monday. Work is expected to continue into rush hour.
The work will narrow southbound I-35 to one lane between Wilshire Boulevard and NE 50 Street. The eastbound I-44 ramp to southbound I-35 will be closed during work.
Drivers are urged to find alternate routes around the area. Crews have had to shut down and narrow the roadway on the bridge several times in the past year to fix holes.
