Five injured in fight between rival groups at Oklahoma prison
HOMINY, Okla. (KOKH) —
An investigation is underway following a fight between inmates at an Oklahoma prison.
The Oklahoma Department of Corrections reports that a fight injured five inmates June 2 at Dick Conner Correctional Center. Officials say the fight occurred between members of rival groups at the prison.
Two inmates were transported by medical helicopter to Tulsa hospitals. A third person was taken by ambulance. The two remaining injured inmates were treated at the prison.
An investigation into what started the fight is underway. No staff were injured.
