A passerby saw smoke coming from a northwest metro home Thursday morning, leading to a fire call.

Crews responded to the home in the 1900 block of NW 32nd St just before 9 a.m.

Officials on-scene tell FOX 25 firefighers had to knock down the home's front door and the man living inside is in poor health and can't move around too well.

Crews discovered a small fire in the attic and quickly extinguished the blaze.

Officials say the cause is electrical in nature. There was very minimal damage to the home.
