In July 2015, five members of the Bever family were murdered inside of the home. Robert and Michael Bever were accused of killing their parents and three of their siblings.

The City of Broken Arrow recently announced a fundraising campaign to knock down the home and turn it into a memorial garden.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
