Oklahoma voters have selected two candidates in a primary election to fill a vacant Senate seat Tuesday.

A special primary election was held to select the two candidates who will run against each other, in order to replace former Republican State Sen. Kyle Loveless.

Loveless pleaded guilty to several charges in connection to the misuse of campaign funds.

According to Tuesday's unofficial results, voters have selected Democrat Steven Vincent to run against Republican Paul Rosino for the Senate District 45 seat.

The general election is set to take place on Nov. 14.
