A 40-year-old Oklahoma man has been arrested after authorities say he attempted to have sex with an underage girl.

The Canadian County Sheriff Chris West reports that Justin Fowler, 40, was arrested August 12 for soliciting sex with a minor by use of technology. West says that Fowler contacted an undercover deputy posing as a 14-year-old girl on a social media app.

Fowler was allegedly told by authorities that he was communicating with an underage girl and responded by asking the girl if she "liked older guys". He then reportedly sent a photo of his genitals to the girl and told the girl she could urinate in his mouth when they met.

West says the man then began setting up a meeting with the young girl and stated he would bring her chocolate vodka and asked her to bring condoms. Fowler set up a meeting point with the girl and said he would arrive in a white truck. Authorities arrested Fowler when he arrived at the meet up point.

Fowler, an Indianola resident, was staying in Midwest City during the incident.

“I hope the parents that read about this arrest fully understand that child predators lurk in every corner of the internet, and that it’s their responsibility to monitor their children’s internet and cell phone activity. I’m fearful this isn’t Fowler’s first rodeo,” West said.

Fowler was then booked into the Canadian County Detention Center on a count of lewd acts with a child under the age of 16.
