Police have released surveillance video of three people behind a shoplifting and attempted kidnapping on May 12.

Oklahoma City police say the two men and a woman are responsible for shoplifting from Walmart, 2000 W. Memorial Road. One of the men attempted to force a woman into a gray truck in the parking lot of the store. The woman was able to escape and notify police.

The incident has shoppers in the area on edge.

"On a day like this, you know, I was caught off guard even by you stopping me going to my car," said Jennifer Aljoe. "So it's definitely a concern."

But police say what's most concerning is the fact that the suspect is still at large.

"It's unclear what his motives were but it's certainly someone we want to get identified and we want to talk to and see what was going on," said Oklahoma City Police Department Spokesman MSgt. Gary Knight.

The man in the red shorts is described as a white male with gold, diamond-studded teeth. The man's arms and legs are also heavily tattooed.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
