American Airlines will soon be offering direct service from Oklahoma City to Phoneix.

The airline announced Thursday that the nonstop flight from Will Rogers World Airport to Phoenix Sky Harbor will begin on April 3, 2018. Sky Harbor will become the fifth American hub to offer nonstop service from WRWA.

“We are thrilled to see American continue expanding in the market,” says Mark Kranenburg, airports director. “American has a long history in Oklahoma City and we anticipate that the additional service will only strengthen its presence here by providing our customers more options for travel.”

While times could vary, a release from American Airlines lists the planned flight time from OKC to Phoenix as a 1 p.m. CT departure and landing at Sky Harbor at 12:58 PT. From Phoenix to OKC, the flight is expected to leave at 8:35 a.m. PT and arrive at WRWA at 12:30 CT.

American now offers nonstop routes from Oklahoma City to Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Phoenix.
