18-year-old arrested for 2nd homicide of 2018 in Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Authorities have identified the victim of the second homicide of 2018 in Oklahoma City and a man arrested in the case.
The Oklahoma City Police Department reports that 24-year-old Isaac Herrera was discovered dead Jan. 9 inside an apartment in the 7700 block of Lyrewood Lane. At the time of the discovery authorities said Herrera had trauma to his body consistent with homicide.
Later that afternoon, police arrested 18-year-old Brandon Newell on a complaint of first degree murder in connection to the death.
