1 dead, 1 critical after 3-car crash in NW Oklahoma City

One person is dead and another fighting for their life after a major crash in the metro.

Police responded to the wreck at approximately 10:53 p.m. May 15 near NW 10th and Council. Police say Vayouk Phouangsouvanh, 15, died in the crash. A 16-year-old passenger in Phouangsouvanh's vehicle was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Phouangsouvanh was traveling southbound on Bradley Avenue and was attempting to turn east onto NW 10 when the vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on NW 10 Street. The two vehicles then traveled into the eastbound lanes where they struck a third vehicle.
