Police: Man claiming to be "Vampire Bat" found pantless, shouting at metro AutoZone
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
A metro man is in custody after a bizarre incident outside a metro AutoZone.
Police say an officer was called to the store in the 2700 block of SW 29th St. for reports of a man with his pants down naked from the waist down, cursing and throwing items at customers.
Police arrived to find Bryan Baker still in the parking lot and yelling, but at no one.
The officer noticed an empty pint whiskey bottle at Baker's feet and another pint whiskey bottle about three-quarters full in his possession. Baker was also unsteady on his feet, had bloodshot and watery eyes and slurred speech, according to police reports.
As the officer approached, Baker reportedly pointed at one officer calling him a "motherf***er." Police say Baker continued that the officer wasn't taking him to jail and he'd kill him first, also claiming he was a "vampire bat."
The officer arrested Baker for public drunkenness and he was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. Baker has since been released.
