Tulsa PD: 'Mummy' suspect robs payday loans business

TULSA — (KTUL) -- Tulsa police say a suspect wrapped in gauze robbed a cash advance store early Saturday morning. According to the Tulsa Police Department, a suspect with a gauze bandage around his face entered Everyone's Cash, in the 1400 block of W. 51 St. and demanded cash from the clerk. Police say the suspect placed a device on the counter, that looked like clay with wires sticking out of it, after demanding cash. The clerk complied and gave the suspect cash. Police believe this suspect also robbed an IBC Bank branch in Tulsa in July but are working to confirm if it is the same suspect. The suspect is described as a male in his late 20s or early 30s with a dark complexion, standing approximately 5'5". he was last seen wearing a blue shirt with black pants.
