Thunder Fan Hits Shot of a Lifetime

A Thunder fan is extremely thankful after hitting the shot of a lifetime.

Heath Kufahl and his wife Jenni were attending Tuesday night's Oklahoma City Thunder game, when they were selected for the halftime challenge.

"It was kind of surreal, it happened so fast, you didn't have time to be real nervous" says Heath.

Heath made a half-court shot and won twenty thousand dollars.

"I hit the shot and was excited, and didn't really think about it until afterwards" says Heath.

Heath says he was extremely excited to win the money, but so was his wife Jenni.

"I really was just in shock, I don't even know what I was thinking, I was just in shock" says Jenni.

The couple says they will be using the money to help pay for Jenni's medical bills.

Jenni says she's been battling appendix cancer, and receiving chemotherapy.

"It's amazing that it's obvious from the Lord, it's not just chance, the Lord knew what he was doing" says Jenni.

Now the couple says they're very grateful for the money, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"We're just thankful for the opportunity that the Thunder do that, we're so glad they're here in the community" says Heath.

Jenni says she has five more chemotherapy sessions, before seeing if her cancer is in remission.
