Queen Latifah brings her talents to daytime TV with the fall premiere of her talk show "The Queen Latifah Show".
Her talk show will feature celebrity interviews, human interest stories, comedy, pop culture and musical performances. It is expected to showcase Queen Latifah's talents, blending comedy and music into her hosting duties.
Queen Latifah got her start in the entertainment world as a rapper when she released the album "All Hail to the Queen". From there, she took on a role of record producer and became CEO of the Flavor Unit Records and Management Company in New Jersey.
In the 90's, Latifah branched out, getting into acting with Spike Lee's Jungle Fever. She appeared in other movies as well and spent five years on the sitcom Living Single.
Her most acclaimed role came in 2002 when she starred alongside Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Renee Zellweger in Chicago, portraying prison matron Mama Morton.
In the past decade, she's appeared ins dozens of other movies but will venture into a new field this fall with her talk show The Queen Latifah Show.
