Texas woman faces jail time over pet pig

A southeast Texas woman says she is ready to serve time in jail in order to keep her pet pig.
Shawnda Cash has had her Vietnamese pot-bellied pig since it was young and weighed just a few pounds.
But the pig has grown a lot since then and Cash says a neighbor recently complained.
It turns out since her La Porte home sits on less than one acre the city says the pig is illegal.
Cash was ordered to pay a fine but says she can't afford it. She then missed a court date and could face time in jail.
"I want to show my boys not to give in over fear or to do something you know in your heart that's right," she says.
Cash says her lawyer is asking the court to reset the case in an effort to avoid jail time.
