Texas woman arrested for corn dog murder threat
(KEYE) -- She wanted an uncooked corn dog. When she didn't get it, she pulled a knife and started threatening lives, police said.Charmelle Rayne Henry, 45, was arrested in Midland County, Texas, last week. She was at a small food stand and ordered a $0.75 corn dog; specifically, an uncooked one. When she didn't get it, the crew working inside said she became enraged.They told police Henry threatened lives of the workers and flashed a pocket-knife. They said she then started stabbing the counter and they called the police.Police ordered to her to get down and surrender. When she refused, police released a K9 unit to detain her. She was taken into custody without further incident.Henry was taken to the hospital for evaluation and then arrested. She is being held on a 100-thousand dollar bond and faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
