A 19-year-old Texas cheerleader is becoming fairly well-known on Facebook, but not quite for the right reasons. Kendall Jones has been hunting big game in Africa since she was 13-years-old. When she's not hunting, she's cheerleading at Texas Tech University. Many animal rights activists are angry over her fairly gruesome posts involving her posing over bodies of recently killed animals. More than 80,000 people signed an online petition demanding Facebook remove Jone's page citing "animal cruelty." Another petition, started by a South African citizen, is asking the South African government ban Jones from the country. 1,000 people have signed it so far. Jones doesn't seem to be concerned about the negative attention, writing on her Facebook page, "All the anti-hunters posting negative comments and sharing my photos on their page has helped me get over 600 likes in the past 48 hours."Jone's family says she is going to be featured in a television show about her exploits in early 2015.
