Teen charged with disorderly conduct after recording students bullying him in class

A Pennsylvania mother of a high school student convicted of disorderly conduct wants the judge to reverse the decision.

Shea Love says her 15 year old son, who is diagnosed with a comprehension delay disorder, ADHD, and an anxiety disorder, has been harassed for months but never had anything to show for it.

That's when he decided to record audio of them bullying him in class. Problem is, Pennsylvania state law prohibits secret audio recording.

According to the , after questioning the boy about the recording, the district forced him to erase it and punished him with Saturday detention.

A judge also found the 15 year old guilty of wiretapping and ordered him to pay a $25 fine.

Love is appealing and wants the judge to reverse the decision and the school district to apologize.
