Man sentenced to death for hiring person to kill his pregnant wife

(AP) -- A man convicted of hiring another person to kill his estranged, pregnant wife has been sentenced to death. Court records show 26-year-old Fabion Brown was given two death sentences Monday in Oklahoma County District Court for the January 2012 deaths of 23-year-old Jessica Brown and her fetus in her Midwest City home.Judge Ray Elliott handed down the sentences after rejecting Brown's request to set aside the jury's June verdict convicting him of two counts of murder and one count of conspiracy.Brown had pleaded not guilty and represented himself at trial.
