Report: Oklahoma City man holds burglary suspect at gunpoint

Police in southeast Oklahoma City say a homeowner caught a man breaking into his garage and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.Brandon Evans, 29, was arrested Wednesday evening at a home in the 6300 block of S. Durland.According to the police report, Evans was breaking into a detached garage when the homeowner noticed the door was open. The homeowner confronted Evans and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.Police say there were pry marks and damage to the garage door and several boxes had been taken out of the garage by Evans. Evans was also carrying Alprazolam, a schedule four narcotic, according to the report. He was arrested and booked on charges of burglary and possession of controlled drugs without a prescription.
