OKLAHOMA CITY — The Red Earth Festival is continuing Saturday at Remington Park. The Festival began Thursday, June 5th, with the final day beginning Saturday morning with music on the Plaza Stage. The Plaza Stage will have music presentations and award ceremonies throughout the day until a final presentation by champion hoop dancer Lane Jensen at 6:00 p.m. Dance competitions will be showcased on the Paddock Stage Saturday afternoon. The dance competitions have categories for tots, teens, and adults that will start at 1:00 p.m. and continue to 4:00 p.m. The final championship is slated for 4:00 p.m. with the awards ceremony to follow.The Festival also has an art market, native food booths and activities for children. The Red Earth Festival, an annual event that is in its 28th year, will conclude on the Paddock Stage starting at 7:00 p.m.
