Pursuit ends in northwest Oklahoma City after driver crashes
A police chase in Northwest Oklahoma City ended in a single car crash at Northwest Expressway and Council around 8 p.m. Wednesday. No one was hurt in the accident. Officers say the driver was sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot when one cop approached her. They say that's when she took off, driving twice around the block with an officer following behind before she ran off the road and crashed into a small sign. Police say the tires blew out and the car was leaking transmission fluid so it appeared to be smoking after the accident. They say the driver was probably in her 30's. She was booked into Oklahoma County Jail on DUI and Alluding an Officer.
