Police investigating throat slashing in NW Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City police are investigating a throat slashing at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex Tuesday evening.

According to police, authorities were called to the Highlands Apartments, 12701 N. Pennsylvania Ave., around 8:15 p.m. after a man in his 40s was found with his throat slashed. The victim was bound with duct tape before his throat was cut.

Police say the victim was able to get to a neighbors apartment. The neighbors then called authorities to the scene.

The victim was transported to OU Medical Center in critical condition.

Police are currently searching for suspects in the case and believe the incident may have been part of a robbery.
