Police chief in NE Oklahoma city arrested on molestation charges

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a police chief has been arrested and accused of two counts of molestation of a child.Clarence William Gregory, Sr, 75, was arrested at his office Thursday at the Mayes County Sheriff's Office. According to the OSBI, he was booked in the Mayes County Jail on two complaints of lewd molestation of a child under 16.The OSBI says it was contacted by the Mayes County Sheriff's Office after two children made the allegations.Gregory is the police chief of the city of Spavinaw, which is a small town about 70 miles northeast of Tulsa.
