A mother in Kansas City wants answers after her son is kicked in the head by an opposing player in a Pee-Wee football game.
The incident, which occurred on October 5, was caught on camera by a spectator at the game. In the video, you can see as 12-year-old Maurice Martin is thrown to the ground after a play.
As Martin is on the ground, the opposing player then kicks him in the head. Both players were ejected from the game following the incident, Martin for removing his helmet and cursing and the opposing player for unsportsmanlike conduct.
The opposing player was initially suspended for one game, which upset Martin's mother Keesha. After the league board reviewed the video, the opposing player was suspended for the season.
