Oklahoma State running back Devon Thomas arrested for armed robbery, firing a gun

Police in Broke Arrow have arrested a freshman running back for the Oklahoma State Cowboys for robbery and shooting with intent to kill.According to KTUL in Tulsa, Broken Arrow Police report that they were called to the 1100 block of East Madison in the city on Tuesday. The victim told police that Devon Thomas, 18, and three other suspects robbed him at gunpoint, taking marijuana, money, shoes, and clothes from him. The victim said they then told him to leave because they were about to "bust a cap". As the victim drove away, he told police that they fired at least one shot at the vehicle, hitting the driver's headrest. The victim said he has known Thomas for several years.Thomas was a four-star recruit from Broken Arrow who committed to Oklahoma State. He enrolled this spring.He was arrested on complaints of robbery with an firearm and shooting with the intent to kill. Thomas is being held in Tulsa County Jail on $125,000 bond.
