Oklahoma City native Daniel Orton waived by hometown Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced they've waived center Daniel Orton, an Oklahoma City Native.
Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti made the announcement Thursday morning.
Orton, an Oklahoma City native who played at Bishop McGuinness High School, appeared in 13 games last season, averaging 8 minutes where he scored 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds a game.
The center appeared in one preseason game, scoring six points while picking up four rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 19 minutes.
