OKCPS seeking public's input on superintendent search

Oklahoma City Public Schools is seeking the public's input as they search for a new district superintendent.

Three town hall meetings will be held across the district this week. The OKCPS is encouraging parents, students and members of the community to provide their input on what leadership traits they believe the superintendent should possess.

The meetings will be held at the following times and places:

- Monday, December 2 from 7:00-8:30pm at Star Spencer High School, Auditorium

- Tuesday, December 3 from 7:00-8:30pm at Douglass High School, Auditorium

- Thursday, December 5 from 7:00-8:30pm at Southeast High School, Auditorium

The meetings will be conducted by PROACT, the search firm retained by OKCPS in recruiting potential superintendent candidates.

Translation services will be available at all meetings. Anyone who cannot attend the meetings is asked to provide input using an online survey here.
